Classic LayFlat Binding

Classic LayFlat binding is perfect for simplex or one-sided printed sheets, where the reverse sides of each page are glued to the next, creating a grand, seamless flat appearance when the photobook is opened.

Our LF Series machines are ideal for producing photobooks from single-sided sheets. This series includes the LF 1000 All-in MAX, LF 600 All-in, LF 200 MB, LF 1000 B MAX, and LF 1000 B. V-Shape LayFlat Binding

V-Shape LayFlat Binding is an innovative, patented technology that offers the ultimate solution for achieving a layflat look, surpassing regular binding techniques.

Specifically developed for duplex prints, or double-sided printed sheets, V-Shape technology binds these prints with exceptional precision. This ensures a true layflat appearance when the book is opened, enhancing the visual appeal and presentation of your design.

V-Shape technology precisely aligns all the pages to evenly distribute the binding load along the spine. This creates a V-Shape, significantly enhancing the spine’s strength and the photobook’s longevity while providing excellent flexibility.

Our V-Shape technology is ideal for various media, including photobooks, catalogs, and other types of visual books. Machines from our VS Series are equipped with this technology, offering two binding options. The first option involves laminating the prints before binding, and the second option uses taping, where a tape is applied to the spine area. The taping method is suitable for a variety of papers, such as lustre paper, metallic paper, and art paper, allowing the paper’s texture to remain palpable even after binding.

The VS Series includes the VS 850 All-in, VS 650 All-in, VS 700 B, VS 350 B, and TP 450 VS. Each machine offers distinct features in terms of performance, size, and power consumption. Visit our Products section for more details and to find the best fit for your business!
